A proud El Paso native, Dr. Amy Wittmann founded Wittmann Vision after nearly a decade of providing comprehensive eye care to patients throughout the region. She believes that exceptional eye care begins with listening, which is why she takes the time to get to know each patient and treats them like family.

Dr. Wittmann provides comprehensive primary eye care for patients 6 and above, with a special interest in helping those experiencing dry eye disease and binocular vision disorders such as double vision (diplopia). She enjoys educating patients about their treatment options and developing personalized care plans that fit their lifestyle and visual needs. Her approach often combines advanced therapies, spectacle-based solutions, and customized at-home vision therapy exercises to help patients achieve their best possible visual comfort and function.

Dr. Wittmann earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio, Texas. She is a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist, committed to providing thorough, compassionate, and evidence-based eye care.
